Market Drayton Hockey

Welcome to Market Drayton Hockey Club! We provide opportunities for all to play both social and competitive hockey, and we’re always looking for new members of any standard. We currently run two men’s teams and a ladies team, all of whom currently play home games on Saturdays at Wrekin College, Telford. We’re rather excited to share that plans are in motion which mean we’ll soon be moving to a permanent new home at The Grove School, Market Drayton.

If you’d like to come along and meet some of the squad, we run training sessions between 7:30pm - 9pm at Sir John Talbot's School in Whitchurch every Thursday from September 3rd 2026 until the Christmas break (date TBC). In the new year, we hope to move training to the new pitch in Market Drayton too, so watch this space!

The club has been part of Market Drayton Sports and Leisure Club (now Market Drayton Community Amateur Sports Club) since 1965, and we have a rich tradition of competing with much larger towns and cities in the same league setups as our town.
